Sun Conures
Sun conures are highly affectionate and intelligent parrots, but they demand a massive lifestyle adjustment. Before bringing one home, you must prepare for their extreme noise levels, extensive daily out-of-cage socialization, destructive chewing habits, and a potential 20 to 30-year lifespan.

The "Conure Scream": Sun conures are famous for being exceptionally loud. Their screeching can reach up to 100 dB, similar to the volume of a jackhammer or a passing motorcycle.
Apartment Unsuitability: Because of this piercing, frequent call (especially when they want your attention or hear you in another room), they are generally unsuitable for apartments or shared housing.
Highly Clingy: They are flock animals that demand significant daily human interaction. They are not "cage decorations".
Chewing Instinct: Their natural instinct is to chew. They will quickly shred wooden furniture, buttons, chargers, and anything else they can get their beaks on when out of the cage.
